Seward Park Library, one of the original Carnegie libraries built in 1909, underwent a renovation to provide entrance from the adjacent public park, install technology upgrades and new mechanical systems and to meet ADA requirements. Kevin Hom Architect undertook the challenge of renovating the library while providing sensitive rehabilitation of the historic nature of the building and interior architectural elements. The firm researched the appropriate finishes, details, colors and materials that were typical of a public library at the turn of the century.
