The Student Activities Center, located on the academic mall, serves as the focal point of the University. This was a challenging project in terms of the variety of interrelated spaces and incorporation of phased design and construction processes. Kevin Hom Architect redesigned the single building into a major reconfiguration by developing the building as the portal to the campus and designed a new campus Mall, entry road and drop-off area. The new facility includes a 500-seat auditorium/theater, glazed lobby, and 300-seat food court, meeting rooms, offices and retail.
