2014 AIA New York State Excelsior Award for Public Architecture
Kevin Hom Architect designed the Arbor Hill Branch for the Albany Public Library. It was designed with the latest trends in library technologies, and to fit within a suburban neighborhood setting. This branch is a building that will serve as a center for learning, being built to energize an economically depressed neighborhood. This library is being built in a neighborhood that has not had one in decades.
