Albany Public Library New Scotland Branch

Libraries

Albany, NY | 2010 | 8,000 sf

Kevin Hom Architect designed the New Scotland Branch for the Albany Public Library. It was designed with the latest trends in library technologies, and to fit within a suburban neighborhood setting. This branch will be used as a library and gathering place, and will have a series of landscaped spaces to be used for library services by the community. It is being created to display the pride of the neighborhood as a landmark while still respecting the materials and scale of the surrounding buildings.
