In an effort to cater to its 1,600+ students, NYUCD proposed a new student center, Kevin Hom Architect, experts in the design of student centers, were the architects of choice. With limited space available, the location for the new student center was located in the cellar of an existing building. Kevin Hom Architect was successful in working with the confined space and designed a central seating area, which serves as a dining hall as well as a gathering area for students, two lounge spaces, and a food servery area.
